On this day – April Fool's Day – 18 years ago,

On this day – April Fool's Day – 18 years ago, I officiated my very first wedding. Geez, I must have looked like I was 12 😅

That day was such a turning point for me. For years, I'd put up with so much crap from terrible bosses, narcissistic people, and sexist work colleagues.

That first wedding opened my eyes to a whole new me, and what a career path it continues to be. It's my happy place where I can be myself and feel appreciated for who I am — not for how I look and or for what I should have said, or didn't say!
